One of the worst things about property tax is the valuation process. It seems to have no rhyme or reason and often it seems very unfairly applied. A shocking example of this unfairness is seen in the North Dakota State Board of Equalization minutes from October 2023. Property tax valuations were so incredibly unfair, that the state had to step in!
